Part 5 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) regulates notification and disclosure requirements in the event of changes in the percentage of voting rights in listed companies.
According to sect. 21 WpHG, shareholders are notifiable in case their voting right reaches, exceeds or falls short of 3 per cent, 5 per cent, 10 per cent, 15 per cent, 20 per cent, 25 per cent, 30 per cent, 50 per cent or 75 per cent of total by purchase, sale or by any other means.
